Excellent firewall to protect your Ubuntu
For Linux, Gufw is very efficient and easy to configure the firewall. With the exception of IPTables, which were distributed with all distributions, this firewall, due to its performance and simplicity, seems to be able to gain users' general trust.
Protect Ubuntu from this firewall
Like all firewalls, with Gufw we can configure any application that will allow us to connect to the Internet and refuse incoming or outgoing connections, all of which we need. This is not required as Linux on Windows. However, if the virus is not such a big problem, overall security can be helpful if the PC we are protecting contains important data.
This firewall is designed to be used with many P2P programs at the same time as it includes some presets for it. Therefore, we may make them available to automatically identify certain BitTorrent customers. Knows how to handle it (which ports can be opened and what connections are allowed).
Gufw works well on Ubuntu and helps you maintain a more secure system. This avoids programs that connect to the Internet without meaning or connections to strange places.
